Samantha Egger
graduated from Florida International University College of Law receiving her Juris Doctor on May 27, 2011, after which she sat for and passed the July, 2011 Florida Bar Exam. She attended the University of Central Florida for her undergraduate degree where she received a bachelors of arts, cum laude in legal studies, and a minor in hospitality management.
During law school Samantha was involved in the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Society and the Women's Legal Society. She is a member of the Dade County Bar Association Law Student Division, the ABA Law Student and Young Lawyers Division, and the Florida Family Law Inns of Court. Samantha was the recipient of the Cali Award of Excellence for Family Law in Spring, 2010.
During law school, Samantha volunteered at Put Something Back, a pro bono project at the Dade County Legal Aid Society. In the summer of 2009, Samantha interned at the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Family Court Division where she worked with the Family Division Case Management Unit preparing cases for uncontested dissolutions of marriage, preparing final judgments and Orders for hearings, and assisting the judges and judicial staff during UCD hearings.
Samantha began working at the Law Offices of Brenda B. Shapiro, LLC on March 22, 2010 as a Law Clerk and became an Associate Attorney with the firm on Monday, September 19, 2011.
